Naturhistoriska riksmuseet, Swedens natural history museum, wanted to update their dinosaur exhibition and replace most of the signs with iPads. The team working on the exhibition had a clear idea about what they wanted to achieve: a pedagogical way of communicating with young visitors as well as accompanying adults.
Basic wireframes done, I got to do the design for the three types of digital information stations, the physical signs and two interactive game stations. The design work for making the information stations included making over sixty icons of dinosaurs, plants and mammals.
It was a lot of fun and I learned a lot, as will the visitors!
